Born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 15, 1975, Elaine Goodman Luria is current a serving as a representative until 2021.
As a commandeer in the navy, she was the first female American sailor to spend her entire career on combat ships and serves on the committee on Armed Services and Committee on Veterans' Affairs.

United States Navy, US House of Representatives, VA house of delegates
Born in Maryland, Scott Taylor grew up working on a farm before enlisting in the US Navy. He served as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Navy SEAL sniper, after which he served as an instructor.
Scott was later elected to serve as the congressional representative for Virginia's 2nd district until 2018, where he lost to Elaine Luria. During his term, he fought for energy, workforce and veterans issues.
